Vale Royal Pool
General description
Vale Royal Pool is a dug-out pool by the side of the River Weaver, near Vale Royal Locks.
It is a good all-round venue catering for general anglers. The river side of the pool is less than twenty meters from the “old” Weaver, providing a minimal effort venue switch. It’s also a quiet venue, protected from the wind and elements by surrounding trees, meaning it can prove a real gem when other venues are out of the question.
Venue Specifics
- There is no close season on Vale Royal Pool
- Night fishing is allowed, to those senior and senior citizen members in possession of a night permit
- Parking in the NAA car park through the gate on the left hand side of Vale Royal Drive, approximately 10m past the railway arches. (A club key is needed)
